We aim to act on valid notices within 5 business days and typically faster. We will remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who posted it, if applicable.
Counter-notice (if your content was removed)
If you believe your content was removed in error, you can send a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live (or, if you are outside the US, the federal court for the district where we operate), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
On receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the content after 10-14 business days unless the complainant files suit.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances, in accordance with the DMCA.
False notices
The DMCA imposes liability for knowingly making material misrepresentations in a takedown notice or counter-notice. Please make sure you have the right to assert a claim before filing.
Other intellectual property concerns
For trademark, publicity, or other intellectual property concerns that fall outside the DMCA process, email hello@mypickleballconnect.com and we will route your concern appropriately.
